RemoteHuntr provides AI-powered career services including CV coaching, job matching, and interview preparation. You pay once per service (no subscriptions). You own your data and can delete it anytime. Use our services responsibly and don't try to game our AI systems.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using RemoteHuntr ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You must keep your contact information current

Payment Terms

• Prices are currently displayed in Kenya Shillings (KES) and include VAT where applicable
• Payments are processed securely through Pesapal (M-Pesa, cards, bank transfer)
• Service access is granted immediately upon payment confirmation
• Currency may change to any other currency without prior notice
• Prices may change without notice - changes only affect new purchases from the point of change onwards; existing active services are not affected

5. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Use

• Using our AI services to improve your CV and job search
• Applying to jobs found through our platform
• Downloading your generated guidebooks and reports
• Sharing your success stories with us

Prohibited Activities

• AI Manipulation: Attempting to inject malicious prompts or manipulate AI outputs
• Data Harvesting: Scraping, automated collection, or bulk downloading of content
• Fraud: Providing false information or using fake identities
• Account Abuse: Sharing accounts, creating multiple accounts, or reselling access
• System Interference: Attempting to hack, overload, or disrupt our services
• Illegal Use: Using our services for any unlawful purpose
• Competitor Intelligence: Using our services to build competing products

IP addresses and email addresses discovered to be tampering or interfering with our systems will be permanently banned without notice.

AI Limitations: Our AI provides recommendations, not guarantees. Results depend on the quality of information you provide.

Understanding AI Outputs

• AI-generated content is advisory and should be reviewed before use
• We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, or specific outcomes
• AI recommendations are based on your input - garbage in, garbage out
• You are responsible for verifying accuracy of AI-generated content

Your Responsibilities

• Provide truthful and accurate information to our AI systems
• Review and edit AI-generated content before submitting to employers
• Do not attempt to manipulate, trick, or exploit our AI systems
• Report any AI errors or concerning outputs to our support team

7. Intellectual Property

Our Property

• The RemoteHuntr platform, branding, and original content are our property
• Our AI prompts, algorithms, and methodologies are trade secrets
• You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer our systems

Your Property

• You retain ownership of your CV and personal information
• You own the AI-generated content created from your data (guidebooks, cover letters)
• You grant us license to process your data to provide our services

• We do not guarantee employment or interview outcomes
• Job listings are aggregated from third parties; we don't verify employer legitimacy
• AI recommendations are suggestions, not professional career advice
• You should exercise due diligence when applying to jobs
• We are not responsible for employer decisions or job scams
• Service availability may be affected by technical issues or maintenance

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law:

• RemoteHuntr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service
• We are not liable for actions of third-party employers or job platforms
• We are not liable for AI outputs that you use without proper review
• We are not responsible for lost job opportunities or career decisions

10. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our AI-powered digital services:

• Once a service is activated or content is generated, refunds are not available
• AI processing costs are incurred immediately upon service use
• We encourage using the free trial before purchasing

Exceptions: If you experience a technical issue that prevents service delivery, contact support@remotehuntr.co.ke within 24 hours and we will resolve it or provide a refund.

11. Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings or by contacting support. Unused service credits are non-transferable.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Attempting to manipulate our AI systems
• Fraudulent activity or chargebacks
• Abusive behavior toward our team
• Legal requirements

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in Kenyan courts, specifically in Nairobi. We comply with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and other applicable regulations.
